I LOVE the site! Any chance I can contribute a Lit Trip that I’ve developed? -
Sure! We’d love to have this site become a community of teachers contributing not just Lit Trips, but also integration strategies and other related materials. Let’s start a dialogue!

How do I know if anyone else is already working on the title I’d like to do? -
Although we think there is good reason to consider having multiple versions of Lit Trips for individual titles, you might want to email us to see if we know of anyone already interested in the same title as you are. Perhaps you can develop an alternate version or perhaps you might be interested in collaborating with another teacher already working on a particular title.

Are you interested in student generated Lit Trips? -
Absolutely! In fact, we believe that student generated Lit Trips might be one of the most powerful implementations of the Lit Trip concept. We’d love to include examples of student Lit Trips! And, we’d be happy to support the development via email.

When I download a Lit Trip, the file won’t open. What’s up with that? -
The Google Lit Trip project is what has been called a “Mash up.” This means that the project brings together resources from multiple locations. In this case, we’re “mashing up” the Google Earth application available for free from Google with the library of Lit Trips available from GoogleLitTrips. Therefore, to open a Lit Trip file it is important that you have already installed Google Earth on your computer.

I was able to open a Lit Trip, but the front page display was sort of “wonky.” The text seemed to be layered over itself in a jumble. -
This issue seems to be limited to people still using Internet Explorer 6. Upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 resolves this issue.
-
Google Lit Trips seem to run best when using the Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer 7 browsers. We’ve had no negative reports from any of the many other lesser known browsers.
